Android Oreo is Official, but is still in beta

Share

Android Oreo is the official name of this year’s software upgrade. Google has confirmed this officially with the release of their newest dev beta software titled “Android Oreo.”

Yet again this year’s upgrade is more of a refresh, not bringing anything extravogent to the table, yet revamping the surface for a cleaner look and better performance and usability. Google has a whole slew of new and cool features and has also confirmed support for the older Nexus 5X and 6P. They even said upgrades for the Pixel C and Nexus Player will be coming soon.

We are expecting and official release in October along with the new set of Pixel phones. Of course the OEM that makes your handset will have its own date (and fate really).
