About How Many People are Going to the Eclipse?
Due to all of the excitement of the Total Eclipse tomorrow, seemingly everyone has packed their bags and went to a place with an even better view of this natural phenomenon. After all, it has been a solid 99 years since the last solar eclipse came across the United States. As Business Insider puts it after their interview with Michael Zeiler, a world renowned Cartographer, “Up to 7.4 million people may journey to the 70-mile-wide, 2,800-mile-long track where the moon will block the sun and reveal the star’s wispy corona.”
